2024 Appointee Visit

Yes, that was our experience last year! And it was stressful even though we drove and stayed with family.

My DD found out about this time in 2022. She was soon offered three dates for a visit. She had important athletic competitions that conflicted with the first two dates. The only date that worked for her was Aril 11th, and she had to make her USAFA decision by April 15th (unlike May 1st everywhere else). It comes at you fast.

I saw these dates on the 2028 USAFA parent fb group, but I believe that you need to register through the appointee portal which as far as I know hasn’t opened yet.

• Monday, 8 April 2024 – Arnold Hall Theater (400 guests)

• Friday, 12 April 2024 – Visitor Center (200 guests)

• Monday, 15 April 2024 – Visitor Center (200 guests)

• Friday, 19 April 2024 – Visitor Center (200 guests)

DS has an appointment. He just cleared Dodmerb. He called admissions and they gave him a list of dates. He picked April 12. HOWEVER he’s still technically pending full appointment
 
I just received an email. It seems they are sending them out to Falcon Foundation Scholarship recipients, Prep School, and direct appointees. Only direct appointees get an option for an in-person event, and they take place from 7:30am to 3:00pm MT.
 
Trying to figure out how necessary it is to go. We were there for summer seminar and for another visit already.
