Hi all,

I am second time Applicant and I remember reading somewhere that the Naval Academy does not look at college student applications until January. Is this correct? So that means even if the Academy thought I was an exceptional applicant I wouldnt be recieved a LOA this fall?

Thanks for your responses

I would be extremely surprised if a second-time applicant now in college received an LOA. Can't say it never has happened or never will, but b/c USNA wants your first semester college grades before making a decision, it's all but impossible.

Also, if you were turned down last year, nothing has really changed b/t then and now, so what would cause USNA to go from turndown to LOA? That's why first semester grades are so important . . . b/c it can show a real change.
