Are 3 year scholarships awarded by each board or are they reserved to distribute at final board?

Still hopeful for 4 year scholarship, but after DS's interview at first choice school he was told by ROO very likely he will receive a 3 year scholarship. (Of course, we know there is no guarantee...just want to nip that one in the bud  )

I have a similar question, today my status changed online and stated that I recieved a scholarship to UDEL. Is it possible that this is only a 3 year scholarship?

3 year scholarships are given from every board, not just reserved for the last.

Your official letter will let you know whether it is a 3 or 4yr. It's not uncommon to have more then one school listed in the letter, one may be a 3yr and the others 4yr.

over the last couple years some applicants that were given scholarships to expensive OOS schools were given 3yr while less expensive IS schools received 4yr.
