I'm talking about REAL sports.

(PS - I was here front and center after every loss by USCGA, don't try to change history, I take the bad with the good. :thumb: )

Are you insane? "Touching her baby boy?" What are you talking about?

Take a pill sweetheart, we are all (well, most of us who understand what's going on) joking here. I couldn't care less about you or what you think.

Perhaps if you understood the KP-CGA rivalry a little better you might relax a little. Perhaps if you've been here a little longer than two months, you would understand that most people here (at least those who aren't 2013 KP Helicopter Parents) "get it."

If you can't understand that, perhaps someone can explain it to you.

I'm done with this thread, have fun talking to yourself, you are clueless.

Nice Luigi !!

Nice way to disrespect the gallaudet football program. Do you think that they want to feel that their particular condition is a reason for winning or losing games. They line up and play their hearts out like every team. When you are victorious you celebrate. Because you worked hard and achieved. You basically called them handicapped and inferred they should be pitied. You think they play NCAA football to here crap like that. I wish your beloved CGA was playing gallaudet next week. And your little dig about beating a deaf team was on the locker room wall . And if you don't post on the KP site. Who cares!

And I qoute..... "USCGA is an undergrad, so you would need to start over as a freshman in college and go through their 4-year officership program along with earning another bachelor's degree..

Why do you post part of an answer to the question from someone inquiring on Yahoo Answers! web site... quote, "Coast Guard Academy?
I am in a good university now, but I have always wanted to serve my country (USA!). I had a congressional nomination to the United States Air Force Academy, but things didn't work out (I didn't get in).
I really want to join the Coast Guard, but I don't know if I should try going for the Academy (after I am done with my degree in my current University) or should I enlist?
which way do you think is the best route?"

Here's the rest of the answer in it's full context, "It depends on how you want to serve. USCGA is an undergrad, so you would need to start over as a freshman in college and go through their 4-year officership program along with earning another bachelor's degree. Also, you would need to be 23 or younger on their induction day (in late June) as well as passing all the necessary hurdles to qualify & be accepted."

In othr werds, U cn't use your previously earned undergrad credit earned at another college, 'IF' you were accepted into the CGA.

Posting incomplete truths about an academy and boasting football prowess are two different... nuff said

It was a good game for KP and we had a nice turnout of local (and some not so local parents & families) as well as Alums at the game.

The Gallaudett Bison played a good game but in the end, after a couple of series in the first quarter, the Mariniers slightly bigger size and better speed, as well as what certainly seemed to be the result of solid preparation, seemed to allow KP to take control of the game during the second quarter and then again the third. That said the Bison have a program with a long and proud history and they fought hard every down. The boys (and baby boiys) from KP really couldn't afford to let up and when they did the Bison were able to and did take advantage of it. Fortunately for we fans from KP, this didn't happen often nor after the first qurter did it happen on too many successive downs.

Yesterday was a great way for the KP team and fans to start the season off. The fiel, stadium and playing conditions were all excellent. Several of us Alums from the '80's were all quite happy to have attended and watched the team from our Alma Mater playing against the Bison, a school where the teams matched up well and everyone could compete. A far cry from those days when we were C/M and watched our friends play their hearts out against squads that so clearly overmatched us like Delaware and Alcorn State...

We should all be happy, especially the team themselves. But next week is not going to be easy and you have to play these things one game at a time. Thankfully, from the couple of short conversations I had with the members of the squad before they got on the bus to head back up to KP, they all realized it and I suspect after a brief celebration they are all thinking about the game next week.

BEAT COAST Guard!

From Coast Guard Football Webpage

Football - 2009 Season Preview

Senior captain Justin Brooks is one of four returning offensive lineman. When Coast Guard won back-to-back New England Football Conference (NEFC) Bogan Division Championships in 2006 and 2007, the Bears won all the close games. Last season, the Bears had fourth quarter leads in the final two games of the season, but couldn’t hold on finishing 3-6 overall and 3-4 in the division.

The Bears have also suffered some serious losses off the field during the offseason as junior linebacker Kyle Ennis, who led the nation in solo tackles per game last season (7.4) and was a second team All-Bogan Division selection, and sophomore Jarrod Owens, who was supposed to take over as the starting quarterback are both going to miss the season with knee injuries. Senior cornerback Pat Bennett, a NEFC Bogan Division first team and ECAC Northeast All-Star, will miss the 2009 season to concentrate on academics and return as a captain for the 2010 season.

Gee that's too bad!

GO Kings Point beat Coast Guard!!!!!

Love it....now that's the amunition I was looking for.....Thanks! Go KP!
