3Q letter from USNA?

Has anyone received a 3Q letter from USNA (like the one USMA sends)? Just wondering if USNA mails one out since there isn't any place they can upload it, or not.

Our DS received a call from his BGO telling him he was 3Q'd. I haven't heard of anyone receiving a letter.

My DS, has a USNA LOA for 2018 and this past week had the occasion to talk to the USNA admissions rep on an unrelated matter and asked this very question; "Out of curioisty, DS is also a USMA candidate and received a 3Q letter (portal). Does USNA also send these out?". His response was "No, we don't do that".

BGO's are not supposed to disclose that information.
USNA does not send letters letting the candidates know this, unless of course they receive an LOA or OOA.
