Has anyone ever heard of a single individual earning all four of the permanent wear tabs?

-Presidents Hundred Tab
-Special Forces Tab
-Sapper Tab
-Ranger Tab

Earning a single one is incredible, but all four is monumental.

Any thoughts, let me know. Thanks!

I'm not sure whether such a person exists, but it would be amazing to meet someone of those credentials (I think there are less than 200 people in the entire military who have earned the P200 tab). The problem is that servicemembers are not authorized to wear more than 3 of these 4 tabs at one time, so folks here on SAF may not have been aware of someone earning all four.

I saw a cadet here at USMA the other day wearing a President's Hundred tab, and I've seen a few TACs/ Instructors walking around with an SF, Ranger, and Sapper tab. I'm sure it's been done before but like patentesq said only 3 of the 4 can be worn at one time

I've never heard of anyone who earned all four. The level of competition shooting required for the President's Hundred Tab is insane. Just the time it would take to earn all four would normally preclude most people from earning them.

I have to be honest- In 20+ years in the Army, I don't recall ever meeting anyone who competed for and won the "President's 100" badge and I don't recall ever meeting anyone who even thought about doing so. To my knowledge it's something that could only happen if you were at a Tradoc assignment like the Army MTU at Ft Benning (Marksmanship Training Unit which was the home of the Army rifle program). Those guys are good shots- but they are or at least were- pretty much irrelevant to the real Army in much the same way that the Army Band is off in a different world from the rest of the Army- very little that they do interacts with the rest of the Army or filters down to the Regular Army. I honestly would not throw the "President's 100" tab up as a highly coveted tab alongside Ranger or SF (and you should understand the difference between the Ranger Tab and SF Tab. Ranger is a tab which indicates completion of a tough school. SF Tab indicates completion of a tough school- but you don't go to the school unless you are assigned and branched to an SF unit so it tells you more about the persons career than the Ranger tab does.)

Thanks for the input all of you. It would indeed be incredibly difficult to find out if someone had all 4 due to the 3 at a time regulation. I have to agree with you Bruno about the comparison between Presidents and the other 3. Presidents is an immense technical accomplishment and my heartiest handshake goes to anyone who earned it. But the other 3 require a different sort of effort.
