7th Semester Transcripts

USMA requested DS to have transcript #7 submitted. Does it mean his package is being reviewed by the board?

I believe this is just them attempting to get all of your son's information in - though requesting information like this COULD mean he's competitive.

Some are asked to provide 7th semester transcripts and some are not

If they request your 7th semester transcript it could mean a lot or nothing at all

I would surmise they think overall you are a good candidate but your academics are cutting it a little close

Possibly/potentially. It is past the file completion deadline, so the alternative is they could have just closed the file for being incomplete. It's a good sign that they asked for them, but I wouldn't get over excited at this point.

Most decisions are made without 7th semester data and accepted appointees are required to then submit final transcripts when they graduate

They requested it in February and it was submitted in February.

Then it meant exactly that - if you didn't submit them before the deadline, the file would be incomplete and they could close the application. Timing is everything - that is both on the candidate and the SA.

Got it! There was a delay with the release of the the report cards and semester transcripts due the January snow blizzard.
