There are official source facebook pages for class years now (and for class year's parents). You might consider getting on those. It will ensure you have all the proper dates/info.

Since this thread is about A-Day, yes, you can see your plebe over A-Day weekend. After the Acceptance Day parade, they can leave with you for the rest of the day, returning by taps. On Sunday they are released early and will probably want to return in the afternoon to get ready for the first day of class on Monday.

On R-Day, once your NC leaves after the brief good-bye, the next time you see him/her will be at the Oath Ceremony that evening. You don't get to speak to them again that day once they leave you in the morning.
