Ok hey! So based on some experiences of past test takers for the

SAT - The best book used for studying is the big blue SAT book (Official Collegeboard guide)

Now is there a book similar to the ACT? Maybe like a big brown book or something? What is the best book to study for the ACT?

Yup - it is called The Real ACT Prep Guide. Made by the ACT. Hope it helps. I used the Kaplan book, and I went up by 5 points in my composite score.

Yes, you definitely want the book made by the test prep company.
However, I would suggest you pick some a Kaplan, a Princeton Review, and the Barron's ACT 36 (this is the only good book from Barron's; everything else by Barron's are unrealistically hard compared to the real test).

I exclusively use test prep books to raise my scores (taken the test 4 times before being satisfied now). I went from scoring 28 composite the first time to a 32 super-scored composite now.
