Academy Meeting on 26th

Hello,
Got a letter from the Academy the other day about an Air Force Academy meeting here in Phoenix on the 26th. On the flier, there was a number to call to RSVP that you are coming. I tried calling the number, but nobody answers, and the message box is full. What should i do? And also, what sort of attire should i wear to this? Thanks!

What meeting is this? Did the letter specifically say what it was: diversity Lt's, ???

I got one of those a few months ago. It's just a chance to ask any questions about the academy you may have. The same thing happened to me too, nobody answered, and I couldn't leave a message. I ended up not going due to the fact that I had an important prior engagement and I have other people I know that would be happy to answer any questions I had, not to mention this forum. :)

just said that it was a meeting at the Phoenix library with academy grads, etc. The flier wasn't that descript.

It's precisely that, there will also be a diversity officer there to speak with anyone about the academy, minority affairs, etc.

It's really a chance to "meet and greet" and such.

Ahh, so its really not that big of a deal?
 
I wouldn't say it's not a big deal. There will be people from the academy there; they're flying in for this. There'll be folks from the area, graduates, etc., that will meet folks, discuss the application process, the academy experience, etc.

They want folks to come out to this.

So is it a HUGE deal? No, but it's not a "oh, eh...no biggie" type thing.
