Hello, today was my birthday, so I decided to take my CFA.

BB Throw:
59 ft (me) - 69ft (avg) BELOW

Pull-Ups:
11 (me) - 11 (avg) AVERAGE

Shuttle Run:
8.7 (me) - 8.8 (avg) ABOVE

Sit-Ups:
88 (me) - 79 (avg) ABOVE

Push-Ups:
51 (me) - 60 (avg) BELOW

Mile Run:
6:53 (me) - 6:41 (avg) BELOW

I would be satisfied sending in these scores.
The CFA and Candidate Statements are the only thing left to send for my application.

Should I send in these scores?

You have time right? Why not try to get all above before you turn it in? I say at least give it one more shot.

It depends when you want to get it in. The boards start meeting on October 7 so if you think you have a strong application and are hoping for an early appointment you might want to send it in soon, but otherwise you still have a few months to get the application finished.

Happy Birthday

That being said...your aboves are barely above and your belows are more than barely below. With only the CFA to consider, sorry to say, I would not turn those scores in yet. Have you given it your all? Is there still some improvement left in you? If you think you can still make some improvements, then do so and retake the test in one month. After that month, when you retake the CFA and it does not change....you'll have no regrets.

I believe I gave it all my all. I don't think I can see much improvement in my BB throw, but I've hit 60 pushups and can reach over the max in situps.
If I were to take the test again, my goal would be to max situps, hit the average in pushups, and try to hit the average in the mile.

I bet you could push yourself to do better, even on the BB Throw.

I thought that taking it on my birthday would give me a little extra "umph."
I will retake the test in a couple months because I do not want the feeling that I could have improved but chose not to.

Thank you!

I bet you'll improve, just push yourself harder. Post your scores whenever you take it again.

Hi!

Just a small comment.

October 7 is not correct. I am not at liberty to say what the date is (they told the ALO's not to reveal it); but the latest briefing I received from USAFA/RRS gave a different date.

Suffice it to say though, it's not too far off...and they will then start to meet on a "sort of" routine basis.

Now that I think about it, I think I got that date from a previous year. Nevertheless, its around early to mid October.
