Acceptance Day Parade 2012. What Are The Dates?

My other understanding is that the AOG attempts to gather those from the class that graduated 50 years ago, in this case they will gather as many they can from the Class of 1962 to Accept the Class of 2016 into the Cadet Wing.

Someone please correct me if I have misstated anything here.

For USAFA its the class 40 years ahead of grad year -- so for 2016 it will be class of 1976

I'm a little confused about I-Day. In Processing starts on the 28th of June. How early does everything start? Will there be any ceremonies on the 29th? I'm trying to figure out if we need one or two hotel nights.
Thanks!

Because of jobs, costs etc. we weren't able to stay the extra day last year to see the swearing in ceremony (this year on the 29th). My one regret! Even though parents do not have any contact with their basics at the swearing in (just will see them from the Chapel wall--hopefully you can pick out your child from the sea of ABU's!) I think it would have been a very meaningful ceremony to see.

The ceremony is apt to be long this year as there is a change of command. General Clark is moving on. I know from the C/O 2014 swearing in that this was a longer than normal swearing in ceremony. DD believes, like with her class, they will use the new basics for the ceremony as many of the uppers are involved in their summer programs. AT THIS TIME I CANNOT OFFICIALLY CONFIRM THIS.
