I just got the USMA letter saying I got into SLS. Not a bad way to start Christmas vacation . Who else is going, where are you from, and which session are you signing up for?

Congrats!

Are you told if you get rejected or is it just that a letter never shows up?

Got my acceptance letter today too! I'm from MA, hoping to sign up for the second session.

No news in Michigan. Not sure I want to check my mail on Christmas Eve.

I was rejected today too. Oh well, more time for bike racing. :thumb: Have a great Christmas everyone!

I live in San Diego! I'm really going to have to wait for my letter (hopefully a letter of acceptance!)

hey, to the guys who got accepted: what were your standardized test scores that got you in?

Just quick note to those who didn't get accepted: don't sweat it. Many of those who go to SLS will not receive appointments. Many who receive appointments will not have gone to SLS.

Keep doing your best and don't sweat it. It's one week, and it doesn't mean much in the grand scheme.

I'm from the akron ohio area.. I got my acceptance letter last night=). I'm planning on requesting the second session. I sent in an act 31, for whoever wanted to know

Got my rejection today. Not too surprised since it was a 181 from my sophomore year because my school thought it would be cool to give us our Junior scores on January 25 instead of when they really got them.

Congrats- Its a great opportunity

I just wanted to say congratulations to everyone who has been accepted! I attended SLS last year and it's a great experience that you will all enjoy. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

I got in this morning, San Diego CA. Probably going to go first session.

Everyone going to SLS, you will have an absolutely awesome week. It was one of the best weeks of my entire life and confirmed my every diesire to attend West Point.

But even if you do not get accepted to SLS, do not be discouraged. This does not mean you are a poor candidate at all. In fact, what most likely happened is that the SLS program is anticipating a large number of highly competitive candidates throughout the process. I remember that last year, as the April deadline approached, more and more people began posting on here that they got in. I think SLS was just filling the spots they had held up to that point.

Good Luck to all!

Hey guys! Got my letter of acceptance yesterday  Prolly gonna attend the second session, but not sure. I'm from suburbs north of Dallas.

For whoever asked about what scores we submitted, I submitted both PSAT and SAT scores
PSAT- 235
Math- 80
Reading- 80
Writing- 75

SAT- 2360
Math- 770
Reading- 800
Writing- 790

Then again, I only have 1 year of JV tennis on my resume, so I wasn't exactly a shoe-in. I'll see you guys there though :D

Those scores are CRAZY! Really cool that you want to serve. You could go anywhere you want. Good luck!
