    Hi all,

I just received my appointment yesterday. What happens if I accept, and say come March or April-ish I change my mind about attending? Is that possible? I just have a few civilian colleges that I am applying ROTC to.

Don't accept your appointment yet - give yourself some time to think. But try to decide in a timely manner, because that's a slot that could be going to someone who won't even hesitate to accept it, ya know?

Take the time you need to decide on whether to accept your appointment. It's yours. You earned it.
But, to answer your question, you can turn down the appointment after you accept. They can't make you show up on R-day.
