In the eyes of DoD I'm medically qualified to be a AROTC cadet this coming fall; I want to keep it that way.
However, I have mild/moderate acne that seems to be escalating with time, so I've decided to go for treatment. Before I go under any type of care I'd like to clear up some points:
1. What medications/treatments are a definite DQ? (I know Accutane, for sure)
2. Is there anything that I should avoid like hell if I want to keep my qualified status?
3. How does the DoD feel about long term (more than a year) treatment?
4. Any and everything that I should consider in this upcoming adventure...
I know others have been through this, thank you in advance!
