I submitted my 1st ACT with a composite of 27 and was accepted into NASS. (I retook, scored 30 the next time) so don't be content with a lower-median score like a 27! NASS was a great, great time. Demanding physically, though.

As several of us who have been around the track a couple of times have tried to impress upon those who might be applying to NASS: Your SAT/ACT scores MAY NOT be the defining criteria for selection for NASS, because NASS often is used for recruiting, etc, and other attributes may be more significant factors.

On the other hand, SAT/ACT scores CAN be important to your consideration for an appointment, so keep pushing on getting them as high as you can!
