ACT & SAT

I have taken the ACT, but not the SAT. It is not really given anywhere near me. Is it ok if I dont take it?

I don't think it does. As long as you have one or the other. Don't quote me on that though.

nope doesnt matter. im the exact opposite- i took the sat but not act. i would encourage you to retake the test until your scores are highly competative, i took my sat's 3 times

i took both.. hated the sat... took the act 9 times! but $400 spent for a $400,000 scholarship was well worth it

Some kids do better on the ACT than the SAT and vice versa. This is the only reason for taking both. If you are not satisfied with your ACT score then consider taking the SAT.
