ACT Scores

Hey guys, I just got back my Feb ACT scores
33 English
32 Math
35 reading
27 Science
10 Writing
32 Writing/Eng composite.

My state mandates that I take the ACT in March and I was wondering if the academy superscores. I am thinking I could bring science up a few points to balance my scores out. Also, I am planning on applying to Ga Tech's AFROTC program and I was wondering if these scores would make me a competitive applicant. I know that they only look at English Math and Writing.

Are your scores competitive? It really depends on who you're competing against. You may be competing against the All-state QB, class president with 400 hours community service, a max score on the CFT, and a 36 ACT. Then again, you might not. Just do YOUR best. It's kind of like cross-training. You only need to be better than the person you were yesterday.

My ACT scores were much lower than that. English: 29, math: 26, reading: 31, science: 27. I did not take the writing. My scores weren't very high, but the academy and other colleges look for the 'whole package.' Be well rounded and strive to strengthen your application in all its parts.
