On the Coast Guard Academy website, it states that the average ACT score is a 27, not to be cynical but this seems a little low compared to the SAT average, is it actually a 27, if so that would be awesome for me.
also which states tend to be the most competitive for the Coast Guard Academy?
BTW: are the Friday admissions briefings open to the public....or do they need to be reserved....How do you reserve a spot if need be....Thanks again!
My ACT scores are above the average that you stated however my sat scores are borderline average so should I just send my ACT scores or send both?
"These are the median scores for the Class of 2016:
Math 640, Critical Reading 600, Writing 590
Math 28, English 27, Writing 26, Composition 27"
These quoted SAT scores seem very low to me, I know when I read the 2016 EA stats on the board in the spring they were much higher - very close to 700 on both Math and Reading. Can anyone let me know what the source of this info was?
