Activities Update

A few days ago I emailed the admissions team from my region with an update on some activities the I started participating in and some awards I received at the end of my cross country season. I just received an email from admissions from my region stating that I needed a school official to verify these updates.
I'm unsure of how to go about having a school official verify these activities. I know that for the CAR an email was sent to them where they could verify the activities, but since this is simply an update how do I go about having these activities verified?

I did, of course, email and ask the admissions team this directly but I haven't gotten a reply back yet, and so I figured I would ask here so I can go ahead and get these activities verified as soon as possible.

That is interesting because my son updated his file with XC award a few days ago. He received an email response that it was added to his file. Did you update through your candidate profile? (that's what he did).
 
Yes, I just clicked on the button on my candidate portal that brings up a message to send to the admissions team.
Specifically I included that I received an award for the 21-Minute Club and Academic All State for the 2010 Fall season. Also I included that I am going to be participating in my school's theatrical production again this year.

I sent that maybe three or four days ago and just today received an email stating that it needed to be verified by a school official. Thanks for your input philmont! I wonder what the difference would be between our submissions.

My DS is going through this now, he is having his football coach send an email (from his school email account) stating he played varsity this past fall and recieved a letter and was a captain. He is also having the coach of the Mock Trial team send a similar email stating he is a a member and captain. According to the email he received back from admissions those people will suffice as official verification. J hope this helps:thumb:
 
It's weird my Ds didn 't have to have coach verify...
On another note...would you update your file if you were awarded a 4 yr ROTC scholarship?
 
Thanks for the replies! I talked to my counselor this morning (who is also my XC coach) and he said he would email them ASAP. :thumb:
