Adderall automatic DQ???

I'm a senior and i just submitted my application to the Coast Guard Academy. Just a few days ago I got prescribed Adderall, because I have ADHD and I wanted to be able to focus during the swimming season which starts soon.

given this, am i now going to be DQd?

what do i do?

And remember, your doc is the last word on what you NEED to take for health concerns. As for ADHD and medicating for swimming performance, I'd probably counsel my kid to find another way to focus. Adderall is a serious med and I would guess CGA takes a good look at both the type of med and what it is used for.

Mr. Mullen needs to be informed if you have already been cleared by DoDMERB.

I've never heard of medicating to perform better in a sport??
