Admission Status

If you read down below another person had this happen to them. The kid didn't apply etc. so it's likely a mistake. Sorry.
 
Based on what is said below my "offer extended" for KP is an error. I will continue to wait for both CGA and KP.
 
Well no worries because today she went to the mail box and there it was the big envelope...my daughter just got accepted to NAPS!! We are so excited! Good luck to all those who are still waiting!
 
Today, someone from the admissions office called me, wanting to make sure I completed the application, because I was "Someone they really want to see here", and asking if I had any questions about the application. While that sounds promising in a way, I was worried that maybe they didn't received my application, considering they were calling while all the letters are being mailed out (I still haven't received one). But on the website, everything is grayed out and I believe i received a confirmation email. I asked the caller if my application arrived and he told me he would check on it. Is this just standard procedure to call everyone, am I missing a part of my application, or what shenanigans is the admissions office up to here? :confused:

In DoDMERB website, his admission status is listed as "in process". Oddly enough, USMMA admission status is listed as "offer extended". He never pursued the application process for MMA as he decided he was only interested in CGA. Anyone think this was posted incorrectly to the wrong service academy by DoDMERB? There can't be any way he has been offered an appointment from MMA when we never sent in recommendations, ACT scores, PFE, etc. His application there never went past part one of the electronic application online. Of course this would have to be noticed by me on a Friday night and no way to call DoDMERB to question. The waiting for a decision has been agonizing enough without this new discovery. We are in NC and my son's friend got his appointment packet Monday. We will be so GLAD to find out something....

Contacted Larry Mullen. He contacted USMMA admissions office and they have not extended an offer as the application was never completed. Still no news on USCGA admission status.
