I am applying for the class of 2019 and have my entire application completed but the CFA. The reason for this is I just can't do as many pullups as I need. I have been working on this problem for a month now. Below are my recent full practice scores. I was wondering do I submit them now or keep working on it and test right before the 31 JAN. I know its imperative to get the max or as close as I can but besides the pullups I don't see any of these being disqualifying

Basketball Throw 64'
Pullups 5
Shuttle 9.6 sec
Sit-ups 95 MAX
Pushups 58
Mile run 6:46

My son submitted his scores and they weren't great initially, he tried to do the assessment in 35 mile an hour winds. He received an automated letter stating he may want to retest. So he did and improved his scores (and did it indoors). So they do allow another chance to test. His 2nd time was very similar to yours, and only had 7 pull ups, max sit ups/push ups, 7:00 on the mile...good luck!

I felt like I did really terrible on the CFA, but I never got a letter asking for a retake, and it's been over a month...does that mean that I did okay and they'll accept my scores?

The portal would indicate it needed to be retaken and he received a notification, so if there is a check mark stating it's been received, my guess would be that it was "okay". It was an automated system, once my son entered his scores, he received the notification in the middle of the night...so I would think that means there is some sort of formula. However, this is purely our experience :)

I had the same question...I also had very poor scores when I submitted this year and wondered if they would tell me if I failed. I have not yet receive any response telling me I failed and there is a checkmark next to the submission link. Thanks for the info, big help!
