I know that I have probably duplicated a thread or maybe posting this on wrong thread and if I have I am sorry as I don't mean to step on toes...just trying to understand the process. So here it goes, in some previous years thread I noticed that candidates and parents talked about a line in the DoDMerb candidate portal that stated the Admissions Status (ie..in process, offer extended, offer accepted) Is this still a line that shows up or have the SA done away with the input of this information? again, please excuse the post if I have posted in the wrong place.

Hi NavyMom. As I've read through posts over the past year or so, I am led to believe that nothing changes on the DODMERB site any longer. I believe the DODMERB status process changed sometime ago as candidates were learning of LOAs and appointments from the site before they even heard from the Academy or their MOC. As a practical example, my DD received an appointment to USAFA back in October, but her DODMERB status still shows up as "Qualified" just as it has done since she passed DODMERB back in August. Still waiting to hear from USNA which also shows up on DODMERB as "Qualified." Hope this helps.

Juvat, thank you very much for your response. I kind of figured that was the case but wanted to check.

Medical waiver changes do show up on DODMERB. DS waiver granted showed up there before we heard from USNA.
