i'm a high school senior and have applied and have been granted candidacy to USAFA, USMA, and USNA. i have sent in all forms with the exception of a CFA test. however, i just now found out that DODMERB has rejected my medical status, and now i'm kinda lost. i have heard that you can apply for a waiver, but it is only for USAFA. USNA and USMA already put you down for a waiver if you are competitve for admission. does anybody know if i could get a waiver from USAFA? the only conditions that they had listed for me was that i had just one instance after age 13 where i sleepwalked--(i only got two hours sleep and had 3 energy drinks. DUMB DECISION. never did it again as this was before i thought about going to an academy) and i never had any instance like that since. also, they said i had a lower extremity problem--(i ran cross country and got a stress fracture due to flat feet, but have been wearing orthotics and FULLY RECOVERED since). all these conditions were a thing of the past, and i am in the best shape of my life. what do you think my chances are of getting a waiver? anyone please help, i don't know what to do at this point :frown:.
