Advise?

I'm a college freshman and I received the appointment several months ago. I am signing up for next quarter's classes and I was advised by the college counselor to take a math class for a "satisfactory/unsatisfactory" grade instead of an actual numerical grade because this class was a "weeder" class, and averages are extremely low for the class.

The letter states that I have a conditional appointment so what should I do in this situation? Will the Academy look down on taking the class with the "satisfactory/unsatisfactory" grading rather than taking it normally and risk it?

Not an expert here, but you should probably call your AFA counselor and talk with them about it. You don't want to make a decision based on a civilian college's recommendation.

I'm actually calling my counselor tomorrow and I have already emailed my ALO. I was just wondering if anyone has ever been in this situation before.
