I'm a college freshman and I received the appointment several months ago. I am signing up for next quarter's classes and I was advised by the college counselor to take a math class for a "satisfactory/unsatisfactory" grade instead of an actual numerical grade because this class was a "weeder" class, and averages are extremely low for the class.

The letter states that I have a conditional appointment so what should I do in this situation? Will the Academy look down on taking the class with the "satisfactory/unsatisfactory" grading rather than taking it normally and risk it? :frown:

Thanks!

Not an expert here, but you should probably call your AFA counselor and talk with them about it. You don't want to make a decision based on a civilian college's recommendation.

I'm actually calling my counselor tomorrow and I have already emailed my ALO. I was just wondering if anyone has ever been in this situation before.
