I am with you on this. Also, why should they get the day off? If someone I know or a co-worker dies, I have to use my personal time. If a family member dies, then I get a few days off. Why does congress get priviledges that the people they represent would never be entitled to?

Not just the cost of the flight but the lobster, champagne and $20 mints they serve on all those Air Force flights.

Should be C130 in web seats down the middle and both sides and carry their own duffel. See how many sign up to go:shake: Maybe they could help on the manual landing gear crank if the hydraulics fail.

I'm beginning to think they will have a plush chartered airliner and the Air Force will simply pay for it.

Nah. Don't overlook the fact that the Air Force owns 4 C-32s (Boeing 757) and 11 C-40s (Boeing 737) as VIP transports. I'm sure they would all fit in a few of those.

Still think they should walk down the ramp of a C 130 onto a hot tarmac or better yet do a HALO off the ramp over Florida.

Liking the HALO idea. Might be the only way to get "term limits".

Careful...the whole aircrew would net 3 air medals each out of such an event.

And they should pack their own parachutes because there are plenty out there who would not do a good job of packing a congressman's parachute given their performance in their jobs lately...
