I don't know how the board is going to go when it comes that way. This is just my opinion, my guess, my thought process.
FY15 cadets need to go this yr., because they must be a POC for at least 3 semesters. FY16 (engineers), can be delayed for a yr.because they will still have at least 3 more semesters if delayed 1 yr.
In my crazy mind, that is the way I can see them protecting the ADAF manpower needs for 15.
I don't have any insight, I don't sit on any board. I am not saying all or any 5 yr majors will be on the block. I am just trying to see how they can manage to keep ADAF manpower on track for 15's with the cut.
They could also decide not to do that, but waive the POC requirement from 3 to 2 semesters, and everyone goes up....lowest 600 scoring cadets become 500's.
Take your pick, because either way is a viable option.
The thing is when you think they are turning right...they turn left. Anyone in the know, will not tell you anything, thus the true frustration is the guessing.
