What are the chance of a graduate from AFA working at A-51? I've always been interested, but I've heard so many stories that I don't know whats true or not. Do they even allow ranked Air Force personnel inside? or is this so abstruse that no one will speak out?

First no one working for either the DoD or any Contractor at a facility like the one you describe could even disclose the information you are interested in. Non-Disclosure agreements and Security Clearences would prevent them from aying anything about it. Enough said....

Now if you would kindly look into this little device I'm about to hold up in front of your face and stare into the light that will flash. This will only take a minute

i highly doubt you'd even know that you got stationed at a place like that until you were actually there...or were staring some alien corpse in the face

Oh you will know because long before anything like this happens you will undergo a security investigation that makes a (well rectal exam) look less invasive!!!

Speaking of invasive investigations... Could someone please share what a high-level security clearance investigation may entail? (I'm speaking generally here since I know there are many different levels of clearance). But I do hear these are rather extensive

You are correct a Secret clearance will look into any criminal records, Credit history, and other readily available information. You will required to answer a computer survey asking what will seem like a million questions about where you grew up and went to school.

A Top Secret will require Govt investigators interveiw people who have been associated with you and gather even more information about you.

There are other categories above TS.

You can watch the "other" terminal every day at McCarron for the white 737's with the red stripes that fly to JANET/Groom two or three times a day for a pretty good estimate.

(Oh, nevermind, that would be for the civilian contractors, not for anyone "stationed" there.)
