I don't know about graduation but yes they do have parents weekend and it's at the same time.

Momof4,
Congrats!!! So happy for you all.

Waiting for our DS on word from AFA. How was your DS notified?

They do have parents weekend. There is a graduation ceremony (in fact, cadet candidates are usually kicked out the dorms shortly after)

There wasn't a "finished with BCT" ceremony really.

Thank you for your answers, very helpful! I received an email from my DS's school regarding an award assembly honoring students that will be entering the military, attending a military academy, or an ROTC college program. Does he qualify for this since he will be attending the prep ? I am not sure if his ALO would present anything, or would he still be recognized. Thanks for any input, and Happy Easter to all!

I have the same question myself and I'm going to email her ALO. I figured he's the most likely to know the answer to that.

I would think yes. While you son/daughter is at the Prep School they are technically enlisted.
