When would one take the AFOQT, and are you supposed to know most of the info covered by it? I just got rejected from the High School Scholarship so now I am setting my sights on the Express Scholarship and it says you must pass the AFOQT (http://afrotc.com/scholarships/in-college/express-scholarships/).

I have heard a bit about the AFOQT, but never when you are supposed to take it or anything like that. Can anyone give me a run-through on how that works?

Thanks.

EDIT: I just realized that Business Admin. does not qualify as a major for this scholarship... So I guess we'll use the 3 year as an example. (http://afrotc.com/scholarships/in-college/programs/)

Everyone takes it freshman year, scholarship or not. You will also have a chance to re-take it junior year if you want to improve your scores.

Its extremely easy. I dont know anyone who failed it. The questions are just like the SAT/ACT with some aviation related stuff thrown in. If youre really worried about it, there are study materials available online. But my advice would be to focus most on in-college grades and making a good impression around the det with volunteering, PT scores, etc. Good luck

Thanks a lot, that's what I was hoping it would be like. I'll take some practice tests or something when the time comes.
