You can take a 3rd time with a waiver, but honestly why are you taking it again if you have a EA? Pilot score bad? Did you get your 2nd scores yet?

FYI some EAs handed out are conditional EAs w/ the stipulation that the cadet passes their AFOQT.

I.e. OP may have received a rated EA for FT, but must pass the AFOQT before going to FT15, otherwise they'll be delayed a year & go FT16 instead.

3rd takes are almost unheard of. You have to be able to prove that there is a reason that you didn't do well and it can't be just because you were tired or couldn't concentrate. Don't count on it. Retaking it is a risk that you assume and if you didn't do better it's on the cadet. JMPO

Have to ask, why you would retake the exam if you have received a rated slot? This is nor an SFT question since the rated board is after SFT.

Well as long as you passed it the 2nd time you can still be competitive for pilot at least, if you did well in the pilot section. You should have been studying if you failed it the first time, so I'd hope you did well this time. I thought I did poorly afterward too, test anxiety. Wait to see your 2nd scores.

My bad ...brain moved too fast and I saw rated thinking you were a 300, not a 200. I get it now.

How much time did you have to study and were you studying hard? I personally would not rush into re-taking the AFOQT because you only have 2 shots at it. Good luck!
