blood pressure can vary between times of day and levels of stress. By varying, I mean by 20+ points (personal experience)

Cj131222 might be right. I had to be retested for BP becuase I tested high. I was worried because my father has high bp. I learned to relax during the exam, focus on something else (a clock on the wall, a picture etc.) and now 35 years later I am still not any blood pressure medication. Good luck!
