AFROTC 2012 EA Results

I agree about it being a sauna. Nick4060 and DS went there when they had 17 days in a row over 100 degrees with 90%+ humidity. Imagine wearing your ABUs , sleeping in tents with those conditions.

Gold bond...at field training, thats the key to air power. Tents had A/C though!

Nick, they had AC, but let's be honest it only cooled the area down, it didn't make the tent feel like your bedroom at home with AC and a ceiling fan!

We sent DS with Gold Bond also. It is an amazing product.

I've heard that you don't want to sleep next to the AC at Field Training. I have heard some horror stories from the POC of cadets getting the chills or even going into shock because their bodies can't handle extreme heat to quick cool after a long day!

I am supposed to find out Monday. As non-tech polisci/IR I competed with:

Cgpa 3.52
Act: 29
Pfa: 99.7
CC ranking: top third (guessing)

I'm not going to lose sleep this weekend over it (like that would help), but I'll feel a lot better when I hopefully hear from my commander on monday that ft is a go for me.

For all those that have posted their det selection %, would you mind sharing if every cadet went up for the board, or like others have posted the CC "supported" some, and those not supported that entered TY as a C200, never were boarded.

It will give 15 and 16 cadets an idea of how the 200 yr played out for your yr group.

My understanding is everyone was supported.

Congrats to everyone who received there EA's! Det 330 finds out Monday :/
Any language majors who received there EA's have insight?
Det 415 had 12/14 get selected. Both who weren't selected were non-tech. I got my slot with a language major as a 500.
Here's my stats:
Cgpa: 3.25
PFA: 98.9
ACT: 29
CC Ranking: Top 1/3

Congrats to all who received EA's hope to see you at Maxwell.

Det 028 had 49/54 selected.

I competed with:
non-tech
500
3.093 GPA
90.7% PFA
SAT 1140
CC Rank unknown but assuming top 3rd given my other stats.

From what I remember the Facebook groups were done according to what Max people had.

It would t hurt to create one big group for a cadets with EAs and then later when we find out which FTU and dates create more specific groups for each FTU. That's what they did last year.

Got my EA. Det 060 at the University of Southern California had 16/18 selected.

My stats were
GPA 3.47
PFA 95.2
Double Major: International Relations/Middle East Studies (Non tech)
SAT: ~1950
ACT: 30
AFOQT: Aptitude: 93, Verbal: 86, Quantative: 91
CC Ranking: Dont know exactly but middle 1/3.

Trojan,

That AFOQT as a non-tech C200 is really strong. Guessing you are trying to go rated.
