AFROTC Application Updates

We missed this one but thought I would share. For AFROTC, apparently once you submit your activities sheet you can not update it with new accomplishments and it only includes grade 9-11 accomplishments.

Here are the messages my son got back when he tried to add some new things:

We don't update 12th grade activities. I cannot access your activities
sheet and resume.

Are you saying that no 12th grade activities can be added to my
application?

Yes, that is right. The way the activities sheet is done, once you
submit it-it cannot be changed or corrected. It has to go as it and also
the board looks at your accomplishments from the 9th through the 11th
grades. My boss told me to tell you.

At least the playing field should be level for all the candidates.

The one thing that really needs to be highlighted here IMPO is to understand that it is not smart to assume AFROTC works like the AFA when it comes to the candidate's packet.

AFROTC DOES NOT:
1. SUPER SCORE THE ACT/SAT
2. DOES NOT ALLOW YOU TO UPDATE THE EC PORTION AFTER SUBMISSION.

AFA DOES.
