What are the chances of been disenrolled,if the commander highly recommend you for commision? Also, how long does it take to have a disenrollment result.?

Are you being dis-enrolled for bad grammar?
Hard to determine what you are asking, and why.

If memory serves, the OP is a non-native speaker. I'm sure he is doing the best he can under stressful circumstances.

The question becomes why you are in this situation, is it academics, medical, or something else because than the answer can change. Also are you a PoC or a GMC?

Thanks for the link AROTC-dad. In his case I would really say it is going to come down to what his AFSC is ...iows is it a critical manning career field. If it is deemed critical manning than I think he has a higher chance than let's say a popular AFSC like Intel where they can easily fill those positions.

I would also say it probably comes down to that "highly recommended" aspect. In the AF for promotions you have Promote and Def. Promote. There are key bullet statements that are placed on their OPR/PRFs. One of my top officers is common for a bullet statement, and at a glance that looks like a highly recommended statement, however the statement you want is: My top officer. These boards know the difference between just a few words when it comes to recommendations. The other statement you want is something along the line Must retain now. MUST is different than just retain now. Your CoC having gone through promotions to O4. O5 and maybe O6 knows full well how those statements will be viewed differently. Unfortunately, the OP may not realize that a lack of those words can really mean the difference between highly supported, to just being supported.

I don't think anyone here can give him a true response regarding if they will keep him, because to my knowledge nobody here works with HQ AFROTC. None of us know what the ADAF personnel center is looking at for O1 commissions in the OPs field. It is just my opinion, but I think it really is going to come down to the numbers, regardless of being highly recommended.

If it was me, I would really ask the CoC what they think your chances are because they are in the loop. All you get here is at best anecdotal stories and speculation (ie me).

Basically, everything will come down to my disenrollment personal statement and what the AF need?

Bloodtear....do you know when you will be notified of the outcome?
Please keep us informed.

As Pima says, your CofC is the best source of info on this.

Good luck.
