Does someone know which majors were needed last year and which majors are needed most this year? Thanks a bunch!

If you're talking about AFROTC in general then it doesn't matter what major you are. You can be any major and be in AFROTC. Scholarships are a different story. To get an AFROTC scholarship you'll most likely need to be some sort of technical major.

Remember if you try to game it by majoring in something for a scholarship, it can impact you later on when you go up for your career boards. Many kids went EE a few yrs back for the scholarship edge, only to find out that because they were an EE major they were not going to be able to go rated.

This is technically accurate but not completely true. While you can "be any major and be in AFROTC" you still need to be selected for SFT after your sophomore year to continue with AFROTC. Technical majors, some language majors and nurses have a better chance of being selected for SFT.

As Pima said, Don't try to "game" the system. If you really don't like math/science don't decide to be an engineer.

Good Luck!:thumb:
