Got a quick question about the scholarship.

My three majors are as follows

    1. International Studies
    2. Geology
    3. Computer Science

Is it true that I would receive a "non-technical" major scholarship and can than pick any non tech major offered at my college or will it be specific, say "Geology Major" only?

Also, do I have a better chance at getting picked because I have a technical major on my list? I heard that 70% of scholarships are technical majors.

    Thanks

    Jared

Most of the scholarships the AFROTC awards are in technical fields.

The majority do get it for a technical field, but also realize that the real decision comes down to your application.

A 3.1 wgpa for a hs student with no ECs, but wants technical may not get it when they go up against the 3.8uwgpa with a ton of ECs that wants non-technical.

It is called the Whole Candidate Score (WCS) for a reason.

    Best of luck.
