AFROTC Scholarship question

My daughter has applied to the Academy and had her interview with her AOL. She is also applying for an AFROTC scholarship and has been deemed eligible. She was told that she would hear from an officer from a local detachment within 30 days. While corresponding about the academy, her AOL mentioned in an e-mail that he had been contacted by AFROTC and that they wanted more information from him about her. He said that he would contact her if he had a more questions.
Is there ever a situation where the AOL interviewer can serve as the AFROTC scholarship interviewer? Should she consider herself "officially contacted within 30 days?" Or will she likely have to interview with someone else. We did contact her AOL, but he is very busy and hasn't responded yet.
Thanks for any info!!

guardianvg the answer to that question is yes (or at least thats what they did for me). I first met with my ALO for my academy interview. After I applied for the ROTC scholarship, i got the same letter stating I will be contacted within 30 days. A short while after, I got an email from my ALO stating that the interview I had with him would indeed count for the ROTC portion. All he needed were any extra information like EC's that I had participated, since I met with him.

Thanks! That's good news because she would like to meet as many boards as possible and didn't want the delay to cause her to miss any. She updates her AOL all the time, so he probably doesn't have a whole lot questions left.

I appreciate the quick response!
