AFROTC Scholarship

YESSS!!
I recieved a type 2 AFROTC scholarship.

Now to get accepted into A&M Corps of Cadets.

I initially called them asking a question about my package, only to be notified that I had recieved the scholarship. They told me that they have already sent the letters in, which we should be recieving shortly.

Thanks for the info and congrats again. Have you checked the website to see if your scholarship status changed? Another person received a letter in the mail today awarding them the AF scholarship but the site still hasn't been updated. I need to know whether my daughter and I should camp out by the mailbox to wait for tomorrows mail.

My online status is still the same, nothing had seemed to change. So she probably might have already recieved one. I recieved my package today.

Thanks for checking magtalas192. Very strange. It seems the Air Force and Navy can get letters out to their scholarship winners quicker than they can update the online status. Other than confirming your application is complete, I wonder what good the online status system is for those two branches.
