I may not be getting an EA slot this year from AFROTC since it is way too competitive this year and the future year(s) to come, but is it possible to go from one ROTC unit to the next? I always wanted to be an Air Force officer, but Navy officer was the next best thing! My buddy didn't receive an AFROTC EA slot and he went into Army ROTC and easily got in. I don't know how, but I am just wondering if it is possible to make the switch. I know I can try out for OTS and OCS, but the selection rate(s) in them are even worse right now.

I would love to know the answer to this as well. With the recent EA scare I want to at least take a look at back up plans.

I am fairly certain that you can contract with AROTC starting your junior year. Talk a walk down the hall to the AROTC unit! :thumb:

    hey raptor,

I was in the same boat as you with not getting an ea this year..I'm switching to army rotc, taking the smp or similtaneous membership program, which i go away to basic and come back on full scholarship and make around 1000 a month total. I would recommend you look at that as an option.
