AFSCs (JOBS!!!) Today!!

I didnt see anything about this already, but members of the firstie class of 2012 (Haaaap!) will be receiving our AFSCs today, starting after lunch.. some won't find out until tonight, it's up to the squadron... so, be on the lookout!

My son called me about 2 hours ago. He got his Pilot Slot. He's excited. Now, we're just waiting on Grad School. He finished the 2 big scholarship apps last week. He's finishing up 3 more in the next week or so. He'll have about 10-12 grad school apps submitted when he's done. I hope he gets one of them. But for today, he can celebrate getting his Pilot Slot. "PRK surgery final medical exam went perfect. 20-15 vision in both eyes."
 
Does anyone know the AFSC's totals for USAFA class of 2012? Rated versus Nonrated?
 
Exciting times! Congrats 2102! How soon do you put in your choice of base...and I'm assuming that's still part of 100s night.

Ours is off to IFS next week...and starts UPT in November.
 
I believe it is close to 100 nights. We're hoping for grad school. In which case upt, ifs, and bases will be on hold for 2 years.
 
Same to you my sister. Seems like yesterday when the boys were in high school thinking about the academy and filling out the applicarion. They have definitely grown up and time has gone by.
 
This is probably my first post but I have been reading this message board for several years. I thought I would chime in and say that my son called and said that he also got a pilot slot.
 
Found out today that one of my sons got L.E.A.P! He's pretty stoked about it! (I'd be a lot more excited if I actually understood what it meant! haha)
