Hello. I just started the application for the Coast Guard Academy's summer AIM program. All I need to do is the personal statements. It says it needs to be a page long. Does this mean single spaced or double spaced? Thanks!

"Please include your name and the personal statement question at the top of each uploaded document; each personal statement should be limited to one page."

Hey, I'm also applying to AIM. The way I read this is that it is limited to one page, so it doesn't have to be a page long, that is just the maximum. Also, I can't say for sure but I think if you single space or double space (your choice) it and the statement fits on one page, it should be fine.

Can anyone confirm this for sure?

Correct...single space, double space, triple space...we just don't want more than one page per personal statement. Of course, it can be as short as you want.
