Air Force ROTC EA SAT Score

Very true becksgirl.

If I were you I would personally check with the det on the 23rd to make sure they are sending the new SAT scores and not just the AFOQT.

I am glad that your scores bumped up, but remember each yr the mins will change due to the competition level and slots available, so keep striving for the highest you can get.

roger that Pima and Becksgirl,

From the discussion that I had with my cadre they stated that I would be able to submit to the database even on the last day. Now they could be wrong about this...but lets hope not. I also know that the entire 200 DET class will be taking a PFA on the 14 Feb and that this will be the one going in the packet. I have a friend that goes to Penn State that says they are taking a PFA on the 16th of Feb, so I am hoping that my scores come back around the same time! Hah, and if this year will be more or less competative than last year will be a whole "nother" discussion. Rumor has it that they increased the slots slightly and my friend from PSU tells me that like my DET enrollment is down due to not as much scholarship money.

I am not sure that there will be tons of more money, but I bet the % accepted will increase because as you stated there are fewer in the program these days, while at the same time AFROTC will have a min number they want to commission in 2 yrs from now.

If anyone is interested...I found out today that the detachment commanders have a direct linkup to the AFROTC database. Hence, my commander updated my file (scores) in front of me Tuesday during a meeting. That being said if anyone else is worried that something won't be in on time just ask your DET commander! I think the days of paper packages are over.

Paper packages were over yrs ago, my guess close to a decade+. The paper portion still exists for orders.
