Air Force beats University of Houston 47-20 in the Armed Forces Bowl in Fort Worth, Texas! Way to go Falcons!

I was there freezing my but off. Even though they were across the board out weighed on the line by 20-30 lbs - they should great fortitude and focus. When Houston got a little momentum it was thwarted. Air superiority! the halftime show was great with the induction ceremony. It was the first time I got to see the falcon fly - that was cool. The tailgate was fun too - even got to meet the AD who came over from germany the same year as my dad.

Too bad the weather didn't allow the paradrop or the flyover, but the boys made up for it. I am really proud that my kid is going to a place like AF.:thumb:

Aim High

My ALO came late to our interview because he was watching this game

That's appropriate and acceptable.

Personally, it would have been a good chance for the ALO to get all of their applicants together (School is still out for the holidays); and invite them to all watch the game together. mike.

Ya CC, I had a blast watching the game with my old ALO, who has now become a pretty close family friend, with the family! It was a good time!

I'm his only canidate, which may or may not be a good thing. Luckily or unluckily for me I live in San Franciso

My son's ALO use to come to his high school football games once in a while. She came for the state championship. I think it makes the applicants realize that the ALO's and the academy really do care about them; and they aren't just a number, quota, or slot. later... mike....
