Airline pay toilets

Seems like they would learn pretty fast what happens when you have someone who needs to use the restroom but has no place to go, all in a small compartment.

Get ready to cover your mouths.

If you EVER have the misfortune to climb aboard a Ryanair Jet...you'll know precisely how you can be nickled/dimes to DEATH!

They are the masters...and I will NEVER fly them!

I will not be flying on any airline that charges for the use of the toilets. Next they will be charging you for the air you breath!

I flew ryanair a few years ago on a round trip England to Germany flight, at that time I didn't find them any thriftier then a Southwest airline flight.

Although I don't agree with charging for toilet use, I also try not to use bathrooms aboard planes... So charging for them wouldn't affect me, unless I of course was REALLY needing it. But if I was paying for it, I certainly would be demanding there be papertowels and soap (I know that sometimes these items are lacking).

I am a business traveler, and will be on no less then 6 planes this month alone, I most likely won't use one toilet, as I can usually hold it until I get to the airport.. I am more insulted by US AIR charging for a cup of water!? and I stopped flying with them. I stick with about 90% southwest Air and the rest is Delta and American.. but even those guys are getting cheap

It's not hard to forget that some of these airlines have been "bailed out" before, more than once. It's also not a surprise they can't keep from going bankrupt.

Is the economy really this bad?

Seriously...

The economy is BAD with a capital B and it's getting worse. Manufacturing in virtually any industry is dropping off the charts and the stockmarket has essentially erased 14 years worth of gains. So it should be no surprise that companies will do just about anything to recoup some lost sales dollars. Kind of think that this will be counterproductive though-I flew almost 100,000 miles last year- I guarantee that I wouldn't book a flight on any airline that charged to use the head. Continental still gives you food for free on their flights as well free upgrades for elite status flyers.

My family flies nothing but Continental. So glad one of the hubs is Houston! :) Makes it nice to only fly 2 hours home on a nice jet with free food/drinks/toilet.
