Ok, I know that the Naval academy has a system of organization for midshipmen consisting of 6 Battalions with 5 companies in each. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what the organization is like at Usafa and if there is any competition between the divisions. Also, anyone have an opinion on which system is better?

If I am not mistaken, there is 1 cadet wing that consists of 4 groups. Each group has 10 squadrons, which is equivalent to a company at USNA. The squadrons consists of ~110 cadets. There is competition between the squadrons for sure. Also, I think the systems are pretty much set up the same with the only difference really being that there are more squadrons at USAFA which means there are less cadets per squadron and the names of the different levels of organization are different.

    further organization

also, in case you were wondering, there is further organization. In each of the 40 squads, there are 4 flights, and each flight has 3 elements.
