All waivers settled by July 1st?

Like many others, we're hoping for a medical waiver and since I know better than to ask for an ETA on a decision....can anybody confirm that all the waiver decisions are made by July 1st? I think I read that somewhere.

USCGA: Deadline for receiving DoDMERB medical qualification or Coast Guard Academy medical waiver = JUNE 1

No telling....I received an email today and was told there is no set deadline. I was told that they've even had kids show up for school w/o a waiver being settled. I hope that's not true because we can't afford the tuition w/o the ROTC scholarship.

All Service ROTC programs = Pls read your scholarship offer paperwork closely...not frm DoDMERB, but from AROTC, AFROTC, NROTC, USMC Option...If you do NOT get DoDMERB qualified or waived by the end of the
1st semester, the applicant "may" be liable to pay the costs/fees for the 1st semester.

Many folks can't afford to go to a particular school without assurance of the scholarship. Some folks "gamble" that they will be cleared or waived. :thumb:
