Allergies (Peanut)

What are the tests for allergies in order to be admitted into West Point USMA? What is the deal about desensitization or a way to prove that you are not allergic to peanuts? What and how do you deal with waivers? What are the chances?

Start by searching "peanut allergy" and you will find multiple threads. IE: http://www.serviceacademyforums.com...received-a-waiver-for-a-peanut-allergy.41144/ That may give you a better idea, depending on how severe your situation is, of your chances.

Thanks I read the forum conversation. I can eat 15 peanuts, but I am still considered "allergic". Is there a way to say that I am allergic, but explain that Iam not really allergic on the DoDMERB?

It really is a DoDMERB question, not a USMA or ROTC question.
