Started a thread earlier today about my feet/orthotic use and how I got remedials requesting my medical records from age 10 till now. However, after reading other threads and being referred to the Army Standards Of Medical Fitness I have become aware that you can be DQ'ed for receiving allergy shots.... I have a mild allergy to dust mites that I have received shots for for years. I can go without my shots if I need to and my allergies are at worst a nuisance. My dad served in the Army for over 20 years and received allergy shots for allergies to dogs and cats for most of that time. If I am DQ'd is this easily waiverable? I certainly would not want to miss out on the honor to serve my country just because my nose gets a little stuffy........
